Nice!
Truly a pleasure to hear your performance! Much enjoyed! I'm curious about the accompaniment… Did you do that too, perhaps in GarageBand?

I enjoy
the classic standards of yesteryear, I seriously don't think there is enough presentation for these types of styles at macjams or other sites as well.
Thanks for bringing out your talents and giving us a history lesson and it's importance to our american culture! Nice bass accentuation, love the flow of the delightful piano melody and good symphony background to bring out the keys !

Latin beat...
Not so sure I hear this number in that style, but you certainly play it with a soft touch and this is very pleasant to listen to. Bass seems a bit heavy in the mix, but the clavinova sounds terrific: rich and very much like a real piano and you play it with warmth and a solid touch. For some reason, I really liked the entry of the flute (finally), but you only gave it about 15 seconds at the end. I wonder if the number would be a little more interesting if you had brought it in earlier and let it ride above at least a whole verse of the tune. Just a thought. You have so many instruments at your disposal. I'd say, "Go for it." I hope you will continue with these wonderful songs. It is truly a joy to hear your interpretation of them.

Sorry so late to respond....
I like your observations, and need to keep that in mind. When I start playing, I just sort of lose myself in the beauty of the song and forget that hearing just a piano can get boring to a listener! Thanks so much for giving me your listening time and constructive critique. Much appreciated!

Hi folks. I hope you will enjoy my piano tunes. I play and arrange them all on either the Yamaha Clavinova or the Korg keyboard, never use backing tracks or loops. But if if I decide to try that someday you'll be the first to know!. It feels real... [see more]
