Description
Here's a track I put together a few days ago, when there was, seemingly, some light at the end of the tunnel.

It's only five or so minutes but definitely in my style so I've not lost my way quite the hundred percent yet.

Light
A little different for you, but yes, it still has the R56 sound and the courageous patience. Beautiful sounds. Another DL. Thank you, sir. I don't see that you've lost your musical way at all.

Hi Duane......
It's good to know that I can still put something together in a very similar way to before, when I had time to live, eat, sleep, walk and talk my stuff. (Sleepwalk my stuff sounds very presumptuous. Thank the powers that be for commas).

Take care.

Melodic
I too like your patience. Wonderful swirling backdrop in this, my kinda pad! Zebra maybe? It's your sound alright. Very, very nice.

Hi Dave....
Yeah. Zebra 2 (x2) and one instance of Diva. I use Dive very sparingly as it is a little-tamed beast and has been since day one.

I'm thinking of putting together a longer version. I didn't do one when I put this together because I didn't think to do it. Senior moments and all.

Take care.

Then There Was Light
I must admit I looked at the title and was pleased with its positive tone, Paul. Glad to see things are looking up a bit for you. The tunnel is still quite long and sombre but there is a sense of expectancy that something better is at the end. Hang in there. Kind regards, Peter.

Hi Peter....
Thanks for the kind words. The main thing at the moment is mum receiving the help she needs for looking after my father and, after three or four years of trying we've managed to sort something out so mum is less tired at the end of any given day. If she's OK then I'm OK.

Take care.

lush
I like the pulsing background and the wash of pads. Very drifty.

Hi Smokey.....
Both the pusing and the washy sounds were my aim, so thank you for noticing them. I hear so much of this type of music that I sometimes don't notice if I've put something in or left it out these days. Must try harder (note to self).

Take care.

Thanks Paul
I know the feeling, but you have not lost a single percent - rather gained a couple if I were to judge :-) This is really good ambient stuff, so thanks for posting.

Take care,
Henke

Hi Henke...
I always try to put something a little bit different into any piece I put together. Sometimes it is background stuff and sometimes it is noticable. This time it appears to have been tangible.

Take care.

Nice one! The upper harmonics and undulating pads are delightful and bright. Yes this is light, a bit of a change, but with most things change is welcomed. I just finished watching Samsara and this piece revives those feelings of awe and amazement-thanks so much!

Hi Patty.....
Samsara. That is a great movie. I think there was a follow-up but I can't remember the title. I'm sure I have it somewhere around here. Must tidy things up a bit.

Thanks for stopping by to listen.

Take care.

I can hear Brian Cox talking about the galaxy over this .
Only thing is I would be listening more to the music instead of Brian Cox.
It good that there are other spacers like myself out there , lovely spheric stuff there man.

Hi Cormac....
Brian's voice is perfect for those talk-overs.

Spacers (or Ambienteers) are the business. Too right.

Take care.

Then There Was Light
I wish there were already light at the end of the infinite tunnel, but if you did see it...
Excellent listen nevertheless ! :)

Hi Harald.....
I see the lights, very faintly, because I have faith that it is there. Humans haven't come through this last age just to allow a few selfish people to ruin everyones future.

Take care.

Lost ? Lost???
Not lost other than letting the listener lose themselves in swirling colour, texture and tone, mesmerised by the beauty of the soundscape.

A gentle forward motion through the star-studded nebulae of the galactic core. Colour and slowly unraveling activity abound, shot through with diffracted starlight.

Cheers for the download Paul,
Doug

Hi Doug.....
I always look forward to your description of my mixes. The pictures you paint on the canvas of my mind always allow me to take that view with me as I re-view my mix.
