Nice work, Paul!
Lovely music, Paul and a very good improvisation. You should try to get it notated, it would be a lost if nobody else could play it.

Effortless articulation and smart melody - Yep, that's a typical Monday for Paul Page. Excellent my friend. Rok

What, no heavy metal?
I've been brought here on false pretences. I was expecting a power rock track with that title.

Oh well never mind. I'll just indulge in another splendid piece of improvisation :-)

Cheers

Hi Paul......
Such a lyrical virtuosity (if there is such a word). In spite of it being improvised the music reminded me of both Bach and Mozart (in style not melody) and there was more than the odd moment of tone-poem peeking below, through and over the virtual staves as they paraded across your minds-eye and as your fingers touched the keys, to bring the richness and joy of your world within the 160 seconds it took to come into existance.

Take care.

Paul

5:20 well spent. So no preplanning at all? Pure improvisation? Amazing!

Improve
You have a flair for this sort of improvising. I think we often forget that the Baroque and Classical composers were also excellent players and improvisers. Bravo!

What a way to kill 2:40! If I could kill time doing this, I'd be a serial killer, (which I suspect you just might be, Paul.) As always, a complete delight! Thanks for the post. T

There's a lovely lightness to this. It has speed and precision - not easy to achieve except by the best players! Beautifully constructed. A joy to listen to, Paul.

I
like the title but more than that I love the work. At times there's an Irish lilt to it and a playfulness that is irresistible all presented with great skill and panache. Great one Paul.
Cheers,
Charlie

Marvelous improvisation
This is a delightfully-played and, if I might add, very well-constructed, piece of music. Can you notate it? Did you take a MIDI-recording?

Sickening. :)
More of your usual drivel. Man, I just can't stand this... this awful virtuosity, and especially all that disgusting musicality. You continually beat us over the head with that nasty delicate sensibility and that loathsome skill. And I mean that in the nicest possible way. :) :) :)

i should have realized this before, but i just really noticed your use of volume dynamics--how you play very softly in parts and more boldly in others. i particularly like that contrast.
you've always done that, but since this is the first song i've heard this morning i suppose i'm more perceptive.

This one
is special. Timeless, I'd say. I love the gentle dance of your fingertips on the keys. I don't know why you called it "Overdrive". It was like a butterfly flitting along, leaving hardly any mark as it touched here and there but for a whisper of a vibration and glorious, though brief, plume of color. Good thing you recorded it so it can be enjoyed again and again. Thanks.

Wonderful..Feel..
The soft touches in the changes really make this happen no need to add strings or anything, they
would just get in the way...
Nice reverb setting in the mix, really helps move
things along...

I agree with with (Vanharen) it would be a lose if
no one else could play it...

lovely and innocent escape from the world we live in. I love how it opens up at the 1:05 mark. I wonder how this would have sounded slower?
