Description
Bryn has been doing a lot of versions of this track. this is a version I just found on my computer. it has his synth and found sound tracks, and I added drums and some sampled female vocals that I chopped up and played around with. the bass is a frequency from the drums that was bothering me, so I isolated it and made it a bass. For some reason this version is reminding me of Can or Pink Floyd.

I don't know about Bryn, but I've been having a hard time getting anything written/recorded/completed lately; so everything I have been doing is just a short little mood piece. basically an excuse to play around with Logic and try and learn some new things while i'm short on song ideas.

I'm with Terry
This is cool sounding enough for continued listening without having distinctive or energetic variances to get tired of. I think that's what I mean. Anyway, I took a copy and say thank you. Off to listen to another version.

another great version -
love the bass idea and the way you worked the vocal bits in. I'm in the same boat when it comes to full song ideas these days.

It sounds
as if even more is going on. You've got a kind of tribal beat in there and also, a techno vibe. Cool. Not bad for just fiddling around. :)

Contagious
The song is contagious and so is your condition. I only have snippets in my head and no vision beyond that. I hope somebody gets well soon and infects us all with inspiration!

Back to the song, I like all the playful elements bouncing and buzzing around. The airy "peefs" and whirling piano line, the ray gun sounds, the panting sound of the modified vocals - it all adds to that playfulness. I'm wondering if you have 2 kids running around your house all day influencing your sound production? I love it.

I think this could've also been a missing track off of a Tones on Tail album.

Cool!
There is a sense of calm suspense. Interesting and soothing on its own. Perfect for a video without voiceover, showing the process of creating something or any crime solving/mystery TV show with the squeaking noise of markers on plexiglass being the only additional soundeffect.

I've listened to this a few times now. Really well put together!

Big
The thump and floating vocals flickering around, sometimes these little spurts are what you need I say as long as its musical then the idea is worth doing this song is a trip !

Soft sounds
This version is very sweet, with touches of real menace in all the right places. Could be music for a montage of what's REALLY going on in the attic at night....

transformation
Weird to see how this track evolves over the weeks from the original.
Every mix brings new elements in and takes some out.
Touches of a less 'gritty' Cabaret Voltaire and bits of Cluster the German band.
Could see this in a David Lynch film on dark highways
Enjoyed
cheers
