Description
can I categorize this mix as 'cinematic dub'?

work continues - thank you all for your contributions and suggestions so far

yet another different approach - still more guitar based than the September mixes, I kept the vocal track from IbotenicParadigm, slowed the whole thing a bit and some emphasized details that are not quite as audible as on some of the other bombastic mixes

thank you to M2, Mungo, Fishcow and IbotenicParadigm for your contributions and thank you to wooden indian for the initial inspiration

still open to open collaborators

more to come..... (I think)

Awesome imaging...
Nice use of space. big, wide, impressive field, vibrant clarity. I think cinematic dub is a great choice of words. Feels like a cop movie where the good guys are sneaking up on the crims....

obviously chilldub glitchstep, not cinematic dub...
effective combination of morphed sounds and treated audio. i am counting on this becoming a much longer track over time. i think i just listened to michael's take on this? excellent.

Of the three versions I've listened to,this one would be the choice for 'cinematic dub'...Interesting stuff.

nice
this one is really interesting too. I liked the original versions, but prefer this one on the more mellow tip for some reason. there is some beautiful stuff in here. I love that wash of sound next to the crisp digital drum parts.

Cinematic dub?
Works for me.

I've no idea how you even conceive of this. I struggle with simple songs yet alone a complex piece.

Very nicely done.

Cheers

brilliant variation on a theme. to me, this version opens a lot of possibilities where it could go

Sounds good
slowed down. Hard to tell in some spots what instrument is playing (sounds kind of like a melodica at the 0:30 mark). Very effective. I can definitely hear this expanding-- maybe a female vocal in there too.
