Description
Last Saturday night we put this together quite quickly ... live on the floor for the bass drums and lead guitar then I overdubbed some rhythmic noodling and our gang vocals. Thanks for listening and any comments regarding the mix is always helpful.

Story Of Me And You
The live on the floor experience really shines. Fine pop with the added bonus of high quality musicianship and innate groove. Your vocals are sounding real good on this, too, Stan. Mix sounds fine to me. Thanks, guys. Regards, Peter.

Great groove (you guys excel at the groove). Catchy tune with a nice hook. Sweet guitar work. Digging the bluesy solos.

Wow.
Crystal clear mix. It doesn't sound like a live recording, but it does, ie it has the spontaneity of a live recording with the audio quality of a studio one.

Kick it!
Great opening...tight kit, kick-a** harmonies and awesome crispity-crunchety lead guitar breaks. All in all, wow, guys. So good to hear a good band kick it.

Story of me and you
I like the way the band is working together on this one. The drums have a good blend of steadiness and free-flowing fills as does the bass - and they complement each other well. Plenty of energy in the vocals. Good variety in the guitar tones and, of course, fine playing. It's not hard to see why "groove" appears in the name of the band. I wish I could see you guys live. Cool ending! Excellent work, Stan.

That chorus
is when I really locked in to this one: pure -- emphasis on pure-- 70's classic rock. Beautiful solos. As always, much enjoyed!

LOVE THIS SONG
Absolutely love this song...I think above al else the vibe and emotion you captured in this mix is priceless. Great musicianship from the vocals to the bass it all worked together well. Sounds like you guys have been playing together for a while. The chorus is very catchy and commercial. GREAT MIX AND PRODUCTION. What program/gear are you using to record this. Aahhh...the bluesy lead at 1.40....i could listen to that forever, should keep that bluesy lead going longer, I guess playing a live gig you could really play off that mellow part for a while. NICE JOB

As the closest at MJ ...
... to what PBGB does in the Shed, I'm always interested in the great sounds you guys make. Live recordings, augmented by studio tracks to tidy things up works so well. Love how you get so much space in your sound - very nicely recorded and played. Vocals are a treat.
Cheers from DownUnder!

Story Of Me And You
Very good. I like the retro sound it's got. The earlier comment about a 70's classic rock sound is spot-on.

The solos and arrangement make the tune.
