I walk to the road's end
To ride again, to ride again
I walk to the road's end
To ride again, to ride again

I find my motive in wind
To pull me through to push me in
A lover's friend a mother's grin
Whatever it is to get me going again

I'm at the end my bags in hand
My rags spell out dead end
Take me there, take me there, take me there
All over again

Reach in to the dark spots if I can
It drove me then I ran
To unpromised land
Unpromised land

I walk to the road's end
To ride again to ride again
I walk to the road's end
To ride again to ride again

Wearing feathers as hands
I slip I fall I'm grounded in sand
Standing where I want to stand
I'm giving up my rights to this land

Atmospheric song, Lily. The sparse arrangement works well and your vocal work is appealing. I like the lyrics, too. To me, the vocals could be a bit more up front in the mix. They tended to get buried on occasions. Nice post. Thanks. Regards, Peter.

Dark angel rides the gravel road.
Nice gravel in the guitars, killer vocals. Love to hear blues from a woman's set of pipes. Great power in that lumbering verse glow, and cool dynamics throughout to break it up and keep it moving along.

Great vocals
Bring them up in the mix, please. They are too good to miss. The song is excellent, and did you play it all?

Very professional sounding
I've listened to many of your songs from early to current and can say you have arrived at a very professional sound here. Good work and looking forward to your future work as well as listening to the other songs I hadn't heard yet.

I like the instrumentation and arrangement... they both work to support the song. Your voice has just the right edge
