Havent posted anything in a while. Thought I would post a dark little ditty I did a while back with some android friends of mine. A recitation of "The Sick Rose" by William Blake.

Lyrics

The Sick Rose by William Blake (28 November 1757 – 12 August 1827)

O Rose, thou art sick.
The invisible worm
That flies in the night
In the howling storm

Has found out thy bed
Of crimson joy,
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy.

Is that one of your android friends?
Some great sounds in here, especially the very deep, dark drum/percussion. A different (or at least unexpected) genesis of a Halloween post.

Once
I understood there wasn't anything wrong with the mp3-file or flash-player, I could start enjoying this. And yeah, it's pretty cool. Dark but increasingly enjoyable to listen to also. At the very end I thought of the idea to end it all with an imperative "destroy!" (last word of the poem) and a sound of something being crumpled or crushed. Just an idea...

Thanks for sharing. Blake is an old favorite btw :-)

Take care,
Henke
