Edelweiss
There is nothing much I can say that I have not said before about your natural ability in both the playing department or the vocals. This arrangement and treatment of Edelweiss is refreshing and very beautiful. This is [as usual] you against the elements and you [as usual] have come off best. Bill you sound about thirty on this - very in vogue. Way to go.....

Blossoms of Snow
The ringing clarity of your finger style and vocals is always a breath of fresh air Bill. I've not heard this bouncing dance (?) version but it is quite catchy and offers a new take on the well known ballad. Fabulous tone as usual and you really do make playing like this sound so easy. That's the clue that it isn't really and we are hearing skill at work.

Thanks for the download.

The "western" Edelweiss...
This is really well done, Bill. I love your wonderful guitar playing, and the vocal take on the original is really refreshing and certainly beats the heck out of Christopher Plummer's insipid rendition of the original. You have given this little flower and the music associated it with some entirely new life that is considerably more filled with joy than the original.

Reality
sets in at the end though, joy only lasts when viewing the flowers then of course they had to leave the place of the their true love. That is the reason I let a slowness at the end to reflect their sorrow. But the joy and the power of flowers can give incredible inspiration! Thanks much Paul !

Edelweiss
Lovely take on a song that has almost become a cliché. I really like the jaunty approach and the crisp, full sounding guitar work. The ending is reflective and anti-triumphal and works really well. Thanks, Peter.

Bill
Excellent guitar work and production skills here. Well presented and natural sounding vocals that sit in the mix just right. Very pro and pleasing version. Get's my vote.

What a brilliant version!
Quite unexpected.

Makes what I'd always thought of a rather sickly sweet piece of music into something new and exciting.

Cheers

Custom Made
Bill you are really doing a good job of coming up with your own arrangements that fit your voice. Of course the guitar has never been a problem. You make that thing stand up and cheer, or glide across the landscape. Nice work!
