Description
This is a piece that emerged from experimenting with a new set of presets for my Zebra 2 synth. The mix is the third in an ongoing series that experiment with the new sounds in the 150+ set (Zebra Continuum). The series is not based on Leviathan or deep space but purely on the new sounds.

Merry Christmas/Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year to everyone.

Deep indeed
Some nice sounds you've found there, Paul! Well put together too.

Hope you're having happy holidays. (Oh, and good luck with finding a decent job for the new year!)

Thanks and take care,
Henke

Hi Henke.......
There are a few decent presets in the set. Not too many though for my liking/use.

I'm applying for jobs but will have to wait until the holiday is over to find out if I get any interviews.

Take care.

Lows
You have a great mastery of them, if I may say so. I always find them difficult to work with; rogue harmonics! This is great, a lovely, mysterious and powerful mix. I must check out this new Zebra set for myself.

Hope you're having a good holiday!

Hi Dave....
I've had a quiet but good holiday so far. I've done a little more music than I have been doing so something is going OK for me.

The new presets are a little bit disappointing to me. I'm back to using others from other sets already.

Take care.

Hi Guys.....
It's great to know you listen to some of my mixes. It give a fella some encouragement to bend more sounds to my tastes.

Have a great 2014 and I wish you success in all you do.

Take care.

Keep Experimenting
This is quite a different sound from you. Almost orchestral and more in the head than all around. I like it a lot Paul since you have such a simple yet delicately evolving set of tones that is a highly engaging listen.

I'm always impressed that the Zebra synth has such a broad capability of sound variations and you clearly exploit them well with skilful patience.

Best wishes for the holidays Paul and hope you find some work you enjoy very soon. Cheers.

Hi Doug.....
It seems that most times I buy a new set of presets, there is something to stimulate my creative juices. This piece just grew out of my playing through the presets until I found a mix that would 'carry'.
Some of my mixes are made 'internal' as opposed to the external surround. This seems to fit the bill.

Take care and I hope you and your family have a great 2014.
