I will admit...
...I liked "Thank You" the most, but this is too is a great piece--and I'm thinking in terms of it being a very good selection for an album as it the kind of song that creates a fresh mood in between other styles of songs--hope that makes sense. Yes, this guy is really good on his instrument--some great touches throughout from David and of course, you did your always dependably fine work. I think you make a good team Graham, thanks! (And your artwork is much appreciated too!)

I still mixed the drums too high, I think
But I'll be working on the three songs this weekend, and hopefully brewing up something new. I agree about the teamwork - David sussed what I needed without any prompting. He's really sensitive to changes within the songs and does something appropriate every time. I'm very impressed. Thank you for the kind words, Michael.

Absolutely
I'm so glad David showed up. Real drumming is so much better than the alternative. Ta for listening, Vic.

Fine work!
I like the song and the although I'm sure it was good before the drums were added they really are well done.

Very minimalist, a touch of Lennon's first album.

Cheers

Ono!
That was the intention, as well as a bit of "Calvary Cross".
