Written under the influence?
Maybe you should consume more of it if that's the case. The pace of the notes is fast but somehow it never sounds frantic, rather fresh, lively, even serene at times. Not quite what I'd expect if caffeine was really the trigger, that probably would be a bit manic... Thanks for the download!

Caffeine
This percolated stuff is rather flavored coffee laced with brandy. In short it's caffeine-addicted music and It doesn't bother me that you are heavily doped . Quite the contrary !

Driven
Caffeined-fueled art .. I'm no stranger to that!

I love those extended riffs going up .. or going down.

That's a pretty soft landing for a fairly intense piece : )

Bravo, Paul
A virtuoso piece played with great exuberance but also measured delicacy. Darkly delicious and definitely refreshing.

Love...
... the dark edge to this. Playful in a way, yet it has a sad undertone that keeps me very interested. Genius! Deep bows, maestro!

A gentle rush
It's a very civilised version of a manic music attack. Well - played, sir.

Makine mine espresso!
Delightful Paul! There's a certain kind of mittle-European patina on this (a hint of Hungary, a chunk of Czech, a germ of Germany and all given a Poland polish). Then again, maybe it's because my stepfather was from Hungary and we had the only espresso maker in New Jersey growing up, so this harkens me back to those bygone days; but that was the flavor I took in here. Whew, your fingers BAFFLE science and I used to hate pianists like you because I'd look over their shoulders to see how they were doing the fingering and could only see a dizzying blur of sorts! I loved that chord progression around 2:01; very dramatic and bold and I think that last passage was an outstanding finish. Whether I take this black or with sugar and cream, the taste is extremely rewarding. Thanks again Paul--you've done wonderfully here!

Caffeine
If caffeine can be the stimulus for this great music, what would a few red wines do? The finest, free trade music in town. Thanks, Paul.

Brilliant!
Perfectly paced, beautifully played and too many tonal shifts to count. Yeman is right about the sad untertone. A great start to the day.

Hi Paul....
I enjoyed this playful piece very much. The feel of the piece was one that, if I didn't know who had composed it, I would have said Paul F Page.

Another favourite.

Take care.

Paul,
This piece is a great showcase for your technical abilities. As a cement hand on any instrument I touch, it is a delight to hear the nuanced expressions and hummingbird reaction time of your playing. Just delightful!

How in the heck
do you do that!? My fingers, even in thin air simply do not move that fast! Guess I'm one of the slow ones eh! (We all knew that already... just restating what my wife tells me all the time!). This will occupy a place in my favs list for sure.

Marvelous track!
I thoroughly enjoyed this. All the swoops and shifts here are beautifully rendered; it must give you great pleasure to be able to play so well (it sure makes me happy to hear it). It's also very well written. I enjoyed the effortless flow of moods throughout. Only one nit: it doesn't sound very caffeinated. The sense of vigorous well-being, and informed optimism here isn't in the least jittery or churning. Then again, I suppose "Prednisone" wouldn't attract half as many listeners!

I'm drinking French Market coffee with chickory these days
half the caffeine - and better for me - but even better for those around me. That said - this is wonderful and full of energy without feeling frantic or rushed. Lots of fun too!

Delightful!
A feisty pick-me-up espresso in parts, a smooth cappuccino treat in others. This should only be listened to in Italy. Or maybe Japan. Surprisingly good coffee, for a nation of tea drinkers!
