Description
Thanks to my friend Daniel for letting me take his wonderful track and put harmonies over it.
The song/lyrics/instrumental/original production are all his--I just added my voice.

:)

Beautiful folk song...
...I couldn't catch all the lyrics, but there seems to be a narrative here. The simplicity of the single guitar and bass keep this song always accessible. Cat, the addition of your voice is a sweet complement to Daniel's very clear vocal. This is such a pleasant song to hear this evening— uncomplicated, direct, well-performed and recorded. And it didn't hurt!

Simply...
... beautiful! I long for those warm folky songs with just a guitar and a voice (or two in this case, ha!). Lovely piece, thank you!

Hey :)
Nice to see you drop by! I've been enjoying getting back to my folk-ish roots and harmonizing. Glad you enjoyed this one, too.

Harmonious folk song par excellence. Fine song, Daniel. Lovely simple production. A treat, as always, Cat. The outro is special. Thanks, Peter.

Oops...
Didn't realize I'd not replied here--
Thank you for the listen and the very kind words! It's fun to sing harmonies again--it's how I started out, singing harmony as my dad played his guitar and sang folk songs. :)
Good times...

Like the composition
and you do a fine job on the backup vocals.

Thank you :)
Singing backup is probably one of my favorite things to do--along with improvising a line to a track. Kind of the same process, I guess.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment :)
