Just a little instrumental with a sort or Reggae flavour then ethnic techno thrown in and some robots.
Other synths used Dune, Alchemy and Zebra.
I'm not sure on the mix so any feedback appreciated

Banksy
Is it? I've never seen it in Liverpool, so I don't know where it is. Anyway, I really like this tune. I'm brought to mind not so much Reggae but North African music. Algerian Raï, with a synthetic twist? Whatever, it's really different, very cool and I've taken a copy, thanks.

Great use of different voices and loads of space in your most excellent mix. Nice one!

I think it's in Bold street..or one of the streets round the back of it.
Algerian Rai? I'll have to check it out
Thanks for dropping in and glad you liked it

A little different
and very nice too.

Lovely loping groove and sounds and the runaway ending was nice touch ;-)

Really Cool...
Love the ideas in grooves, I find all or to many of the
instruments to deep in the reverb, a few outside would
give it a cleaner dynamic transition in the parts...
Hence......Less Is More...
But it's a tight piece of work, well done...

reverb
There's not a large amount of it on the actual track ( a fair bit on the snare but that's about it) and maybe the synth presets I used had reverb on them as a default but I didn't tweak them..but I think I can see what you mean.
I struggled a bit with the mix trying to keep things at reasonable levels and maybe some dynamic transition suffered.
Thanks for your comments and dropping in. Cheers

Positive Vibes
Upbeat, uptempo vibe to get the feet tapping. Mission accomplished. Thanks, Peter.

Nice!
I like this a lot - there's something incredibly catchy about it. And I can also hear the possibility of a glitch hop remix :P

glitch hop?
Never heard of it but you're welcome to try a remix.
I was toying with a more sort of Crunch Dub feel but because it was mostly synths I kept it ( fairly) clean.
Glad you liked it and thanks for dropping in

Enjoyed...
I agree with comment above about how generally loud the bass is. I think if you could back that off just a tad, you'd have a composition that's much easier to listen to. The flights of the high-end plugins are very pleasant. It would be cool if you actually went off into a melody rather than having such a monochromatic track with loop-style harmony and percussion. Just would love to hear something sing above all of this very solid accompaniment. Loads of potential here for further consideration of other elements. I, too, liked the little fade...but which it were about 20 seconds long and then down...to...nothing.

bass
I do struggle with the correct levels of bass sometimes. My AKG headphones are really bass heavy..as are my speakers that my brother built for me. I've lowered the bass on my hifi amp and try to find a middle ground when mixing via headphones. It's a bit hit and miss. Most music of this genre has earth shattering bass but I didn't want to drown out the middle and top ends.
I think I know what you mean about the monochromatic feel.
A lot of this (my) stuff can end up feeling a bit 'linear'sometimes. Just adding instrumentation along the timeline but without too many peaks and troughs in the energy levels.
Point taken and noted
Thanks for the listen and the comments. Cheers

love the feel
nice accents on the upbeats - and the whole tonal range is good. Mix sounds fine on my Yamaha NS-10M's. Cool track.
