Hehe!
Wowser. We've come a long way haven't we! I 'hear' what you say about the percussion! I'm interested to know if this is an old recording, or if you still have an Apple II and have recently done this?

Fun, anyway!

Blast from the past
This was done in 1979. We didn't know what to call a performance - programmed? conducted? semi-conducted? because the tools were primitive and it certainly wasn't "played" in real time on a guitar or keyboard.

Those Apples...
Those exloding percussions alone are enough for me to give this one two thumbs up. Had a lot of fun listening, but it makes me feel really nostalgic too. Thanks!

What a blast from the past. Really creative stuff. Superior quality computer game music, Henry :-) If only I could go back then and know what I know now... Thanks, Peter.

8-bit games
I fired up the old Apple recently and recorded some old stuff. If you're feeling nostalgic for old skool games, check out "The Lone Breaker" video:

Great choice for early computer music experiment/Reminds me of my old atari video game console and introductory computer programming course I was in in junior high.

Always a great piece...
...because of the 5/4 rhythm. This little synthesized version of the original is really fun to listen to. I'd suggest bring out the flute solo. It get's buried by the rhythm background, but I know it's hard to control all these things. An Apple II, eh. I had a II+ ... boy, those were the days.
