Description
This is just another mix in the Interlude series. I've completed around a half dozen so will be uploading these over the next little while. These first of the series were all completed before my 'different day' work.

These are more in keeping with what I normally do, just using different sounds from my new soft synths. The mix is just over 5:14 in length.

Suspense
Unlike many of your spacescapes, this one has a certain degree of suspense tucked inside, an expectancy that is heightened by the thumping rhythm that lies in the background for this track. You find unique sounds with all your toys and have used them within the framework of actually metered time, something very unusual for you and which suggests there is even more order and symmetry to come in future creations. I am enjoying the evolution.

Hi Paul.....
Order and symmetry. Mmmm. I'll have to think about that. The beat component is not what I would call 'Ambient' but most of the other parts are, so I go against my own normally strict genre definitions.

There's a storm coming, as Stephen King once said.

Take care.

This is great
Love the sounds in this. My fav part is at 1:40 when the chords kick in. Cheers :)

Hi Ultrabeat....
It's a bit different from your own uploads. I'm going to listen to it again to hear the transition you mention. I can't remember this in the mix, which is annoyingly common these days.

Thanks for stopping by to listen.

Take care.

Ambience rules!
you always produce excellent soundscapes. Paul says suspense although I get more menace. Once again I'm reminded of the film Diva (have you managed to see it yet?)

Cheers

Hi Dick....
Yes. I've watched the film once, for the story. I have to then watch it to listen solely to the music content/soundtrack, then watch it again to take everything in.

I did enjoy the music I heard but was concentrating on the dialogue and action, so can't give any positive noise on the music, yet.

Thanks for stopping by to listen.

Take care.
