Description
I promised a song for my friend. He likes metal and shouty stuff. For some reason I thought a Cajun Metal mesh up would be most appropriate for him. So I set to work. Now I have finished I am not sure if it is very Cajun or very metal. Sounds a bit Scottish punk to me. Any way I did enjoy creating it and it was interesting to take the same chord structure and drum beat and apply it to two completely different songs. I hope you all like it.
Any suggestions for which genre it should sit in are gratefully received. Does it need a remix????

Thanks Peter
I could be all high brow and say it was a serious attempt to meld a new musical form from two disparate musical genres, but I would be lying. It was just a bit of fun.

Swap Gas
This is wildly entertaining .... love the way it morphs from a cajun celtic organic sounding band to that rocin' punk feel ... and the vocals in that part crack me up. Is that a real accordion doing the chords in the first part or midi ... great stuff!
Cheers

Glad you liked it
The accordion is midi, played on my little 25 note keyboard. It was called Polka Accordion from the world Instrument pack, I think.

metal
If you need to lable it I think Scottish punk will cover it.
I like the change halfway where it gets really punky.
made me smile all the way :-)

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Life is too short for regrets, just embrace the groove, embrace the life, go forth and create. Well that is my philosophy. If you listen, you will hear.... [see more]
