Description
A total monster: the triple fugue in C# minor from WTC I. I've long wanted to arrange this. I apologize for sloppy playing in places. This was not simple even at a very modest tempo.

Fugue iv
Beautiful tone to the flutes and the interweaving of them creates a magical piece of music. It sort of took over my head as I was listening - sometimes to the whole, sometimes to the parts - which makes repeated listening worthwhile. Fine work, Vic - thanks for the download.

Fugue iv
I did some reading why I listened. 5 voices playing three independent musical subjects. "Not simple" is an understatement. All I can say is that it sounded coherent and engaging to me. And I enjoyed it. Thanks, Peter.

What amazes me is how versatile musically you are. You've always been a beacon of light here at MJ and I really appreciate it.

Well done, great tone ! Enjoyed ALL of it.
Great to the last drop !

Quite something!
Congratulations on the courage to tackle this beast of a fugue. I think you have done a remarkable job in bringing each of the voices to life (4 parts? 5? — Bach was such a one-of-a-kind genius!). I think it is just wonderful to hear this music come to life in our own time and with a new set of instruments that give the piece such a completely different character from the original while retaining all the amazing inner counterpoint that Bach was so good at orchestrating. Thanks for a mercurial listen. And congratulations on the fine playing throughout. Just getting the mix to sync must have been a bear.

I love me some fugue...
...and no one does it better than Uncle Johann.Ive tried playing and recording Bach on guitar and sax over the years. I love the guy but he can beat you up sometimes.I have some of these performed by a string quartet. Really like it with the timbre of the recorders. Awesome!!!!
