Groove #7 (SoloMe-o Challenge) with Birdman

Description
I enjoy playing and getting into the feeling of Birdman Wayne's no-wasted-notes progression - and attempting not to be obtrusive. His piece easily draws out emotion for me. My contribution sounds better on headphones, and a bit tinny through speakers. I hope to improve here as I get a better sense of mixing sounds.

Nice
Thoughtful and considerate approach. Not too much, not too little.. some nice Spanishy flavours thrown in too. Glad you got round the upload hurdle Greg.

Groove #7 w/ BirdmanWayne94
Subtle, restrained but wonderfully musical, Greg. I can feel the emotion come through in the (almost) reverential way you have embellished his groove. Very nicely done. Thanks, Peter.

really sweet
I was on the phone with a sales rep. they could hear it through the phone and made a complimentary remark as well. It could go on forever and I would not mind. Great job.

I like your approach
more of accompaniment and the tone of the guitar is right on. Not too much over the top just enough to add more depth. Enjoyed.

Glad you enjoyed
If there's one thing I'm learning from mixing it's that for me, less is more. Birdman's track is simple and pure. I had two missions: enjoy feeling and playing with it and don't get delusional about my lead guitar playing abilities.

I loved it!
There are quite a few "pro" tracks on the board today and I was more than delighted to add this one to the collection. Beautifully done; you and Yeman complement each other very nicely. I liked the reflective mood of this song and it's the kind of music I could listen to all day. Thanks again you two! Michael

Hello!
I might have to go with "pro-am" on this, having viewed a few Youtube videos of Birdman Wayne in action. Always a pleasure to read your take on things, Michael!

Gotta be in a movie...
...this is perfect for backing music somewhere in a film where some quasi-jazz guitar passes are needed...and the added bits of spice give the whole track real interest and a sense of movement forward. Pleasant to hear and, given the right application, could be a valuable addition to a film project.
