Hey MJ, posted a taste of this last week but took it down rather quick. Wasn't liking how it was sounding. Here's a better taste-test, not sure when I'll consider this "complete". For now it's okay though. I've had some old memories, both good and bad, floating around lately so this seems to sum that up nicely.

Thank you for your time.

it may be the double IPA talking
but this sounds great. would love to hear the drums up a little more in the mix, but otherwise solid mix throughout. good bass lines and change up at 2:25- 2:42. the motif at 1:05 - 1:15 I would like hear again towards the end. like how it's hinted at throughout. good piece, up to you when you think it's complete, but i think it has great potential. Cheers!

Enjoyed this outing. Back off the rhodes a bit and this would be a great place to solo.

I like...
...the general sound of your backing track, playing in an almost endless loop-like pattern. I wish you have a little better plug-in flute, but even more so that you'd stretch the melodic aspect of this instrument in your song. There are so many possibilities against the mantra-like accompaniment. Tons of potential to develop this. Maybe you will when you get back to it.

Smooth ride, Chris. It certainly is a palette that offers some engaging listening. Perhaps a distinctive solo section just to give it a high point? Thanks, Peter.

Smooth groove, well played. Depends what you want to use this for, but as a stand-alone piece it could do with a solo somewhere?

Hey everyone! I love throwing up some ideas on here and seeing what you all think of them. I recently got Pro Tools 10, (very hard to figure it out on your own), and so far it sounds pretty good. All drum recordings are done in about a 10' x 10' carp... [see more]
