Moody and expansive, Bryn. Ominous. If I was on Jack's train I wouldn't be feeling too confident about what lay in store... :-) Thanks, Peter.

We Going Somewhere
Well conceived. The gorked and often heinously mutilated offerings which dominate this genre get exposed right here.

i do not know if what you said is ultimately a compliment or an insult...i will choose to view it as the former but of course i might be totally misreading

we going to room #404 to see grace gallagher and wayne rainey's brilliant installation/performance 'nude'

Get going... sounds cool!
Hats off, praise indeed, excuse the cutting edge phraseology. Gorked: it means roughly "derived through ineffective/dubious intellectual processes". Not a politically correct term? Perhaps not. But "heinously mutilated" is solidly a clinical term. These are clinical times, lol, let's use clinical term to describe the scene. The butchers will be confused, but that's okay, it suits them.

element #3 was a modification of room #316 at the clarendon hotel in phoenix as part of the ARTELPHX weekend

the music tracks were designed to accompany video loops of water in different states

i think the longest piece of music/video was about 4 mins, the shortest about 45 seconds...there were about 20 videos in total that played in a continuous loop throughout the weekend

while not an excerpt, it could possibly be regarded as a distinct section of a thematic whole...so maybe that was the 25 minute piece in effect
