Description
Something cinematic, I think. Maybe a journey...perhaps to home after a long and difficult trek. Or maybe this is just for easy listening. I hope you will find it peaceful, nevertheless. (The photo art is from an ongoing series of wonderful shots taken by my friend Kathie Lynch at Yellowstone National Park. It seemed appropriate to accompany this music.)

Relaxing
Have to come back to this one. Ah, download available - thank you! Quite a contrast to 127, but maybe even more in my style :-)

Thanks again, and take care,
Henrik

Tremendous.
A lesson in percussion here, so thanks for that and all the other things this piece has to offer. It's beautiful and certainly would fit well on a movie soundtrack, but it stands alone too. Bringing a strong rhythm and a sense of serenity to the same piece is far from easy but you've done that well here. Downloaded with thanks.

That percussion
was so unexpected from you Paul that I was so busy listening, that initially, I hadn't realised the vocals had crept in. How beautifully serene the voices and harmonies; just beautiful. Love the photograph too; perfect for the music, regards M.

It reminds me the parable of the prodigal son in our modern times, so beautiful and tender and moving to a happy end.

What
a sweet departure you.
I love the contrast between the soulful chorale and relentless percussion.
Your grasp of orchestral sounds and mixing are quite masterful here.
A glorious and welcome treat from you Paul.
Cheers,
Charlie

Hi Paul.....
This is a very nice piece to come here and find. I enjoyed both the percussion aspect and the choral parts.

Take care.

The percussion sounded like distant, rumbling thunder that added a heightened awareness to the wonderful, serene synths and floating choral ensemble. A different style from you, Paul, but as accomplished as ever. Thanks, Peter.

Serene...
Beautiful musical journey. Calming, reassuring. The rhythm loop is an interesting and unusual addition - it adds a dynamic aspect - I really like it. The feeling it creates is similar to a hike when you have to climb a certain altitude to reach the perfect panoramic view.

Only inspiring images come forward when listening to your music. Such a treat!

Beautiful piece Paul - I like the understated percussion in the first section of the song, and it transforms quite nicely to the choral section in the middle. By the end I felt completely relaxed and at peace - mission accomplished! Enjoyed this!

I'm so used to your solo piano work that I forget your clarity and sense as an arranger... A lovely, lovely listen, and a terrific journey!

shades of "The Mission." Great movie and an even better sound track. Paul, this is one of those compositions that employs music to enter the soul and expand the heart. Beautiful, very beautiful...

Paul, you're such an inspiration to me. And although taking care of my elderly folks is taking up most of my spare time outside of work these days, it's so wonderful to hear yours. This is especially inspired as well as inspiring - your subtle, graceful and powerful composing style is stupendous. Such an honor to know you. Love the choir, love the heart - thank you
