Lyrics
THE ATOMIC BOMB BLUES
By Bill Furner
Copyright 2014

Guitar Solo
Every two years they come around
Nobody knows, they don’t want to be found
They cloak their craft so nobody sees
Except at night by birds and bees

————————————————————-
Chorus
Got the Atomic Bomb Blues and I know it’s true
To the top of my head to the souls of my shoes
————————————————————-

We have wars beyond compare
Why would they want to have us stare
At Their advanced civilization hundreds years ahead
Our atomic bombs they very much dread.
—————————————
Chorus
Got the Atomic Bomb Blues and I know it’s true
To the top of my head to the souls of my shoes
---------------------------------
They disabled them with their blue rays at night
Making generals wake up in fright.
We won’t have it, cause we think it just can’t be
More advanced than us?  Could never be.
———————————
Chorus
Got the Atomic Bomb Blues and I know it’s true
To the top of my head to the souls of my shoes
———————————————-
Retired leader of a military base
Talked about it made his case
How they are concerned about our atomic tools
Thinking we’ll win, we’re a bunch of fools
—————————————-
Chorus
Guitar Solo
——————————
They disable our war heads truly at will
That’s what he stated,  gives me a chill
To know that our war heads can be brought down
By a craft with out any sound !
——————————————
Chorus
———————————
