Description
La Stravaganza op.4 movement 1

La Stravanganza "The Extraordinary" is a set of concertos, op. 4, written by Antonio Vivaldi in 1712-1713. The set was first published in 1714 and was dedicated to a Venetian nobleman Signor Vettor Delfino. Most of the concertos were scored for solo violin, strings, and basso continuo. What is perhaps most extraordinary about "La Stravaganza" is Vivaldi's remarkable inventiveness within a defined framework of instrumental and harmonic forces.

Happy 2015
A few years' practice has brought the New Orleans branch of the Miroslav Philharmonic audible refinement. Thanks for revisiting this bit of Vivaldi, which is heard too seldom. A virtuosic performance!

Reminding us of our Classical roots
Thanks so much for grounding this site with great archival recreations of the music that led to who we are today. Thrilling choice to ring in the New Year! Cheers, to my favorite guy from the greatest music city of all time, New Orleans.

What
a wonderful and uplifting work from two musical masters, Antonio Vivaldi and Scotty Hill. The sounds, articulation here are astounding.
You really are a master of these recreations my friend.
This may be your best realized one yet.

When I hear you music
here at MJ, I think and it almost makes me laugh at how damn good you are and only 7 fans. To me that really screams one hell of a musician. To be this good and not giving up because of no glamor of fame or fortune and again being SO INSPIRATIONAL!

Of course I am not totally convinced you are not some very famous orchestral - classical leader just hanging low at MJ for shear pleasure and being sure not to say anything of your fame, to keep it secret to the members her at MJ.

I just have not heard anybody near as good here at MJ at the classics. And what makes it even more amazing is that you are a Jazz player as well I've said it before, that is amazing to be that good at two completely different types of music. Wow MO!!! You've got my respect and have for a long while here at MJ!
