Description
Mike Huntingford posted a beautiful tune called "Tender" and opened it up to collabs. It's taken me a little while to come up with something, but I think it works OK...

I added a couple of tracks (panned hard left and hard right) with a Maton FG100 - they were sort of practice runs at getting something I liked and I decided to leave them there for a bit of extra colour.

The lead is played on an Ibanez Artist.

I thank Mike for providing this beautiful backing and hope you like the additions!

Nice one, Philip. You have captured the mood of Mike's peaceful track very well with your empathetic lead work and got the tone just right. Enjoyed. Thanks to you both. Regards, Peter.

Like many here...
I'm not at all a well-versed critic as to all the aspects of a song and its production quality. Generally, I just know what I like, and I do like this. Mellow music at its best. Guitars sound sweet and warm. Very well done fellas. I don't think I've ever linked to one of my songs in a comment box but I'll do it here. Your tune reminds me of the same mellow road taken in this instrumental of mine from a few years back.

cheers...

Jumping in
It doesn't matter how long it takes .. what matters is recognizing .. and then jumping in .. when the apt idea presents itself .. as you have done here with your additions to Mike's composition.

Love those little rumbling riffs at the end of a passage (or before the beginning of the next line?). Great texturing!

Quite right, Warren!

Thanks also for the comment on the "rumbling riffs"- I'm never quite sure if they are just clutter, but I like the variety the add.

Tender
I was waiting for your vocals to come in, but the guitar is working well. Very pretty. I also like the chatter fills in between the main lines. Adds personality. Well done.

Tender
Perfect title for this tune, Philip. super smooth; super mellow - nice understated lead guitar, and Mike's musical composition was a great choice for your inspiration. I liked!
