Description
last weekend Bob sent me a great music track and wondered if i would be up for adding vocals and some extra guitar work... well of course! Bob always comes up with great tunes.
I think Bob uses Cubase and i finished this in logic pro.

Bob also wrote the lyrics and i added a few lines as well.
thanks Bob for letting me participate on this track!

Lyrics
In the Shadows

I can see the light is blinding
From the shadows looking through
I can see the road is winding
No one left to follow you

And there I was in the shadows
In the shadows looking through
I can see she waits for me
From the shadows
I can see she waits for me
From the shadows

All the time that I’m binding
Giving in to nothing new
I can see the light is fading
Looking up and feeling blue

And there I was in the shadows
In the shadows looking through
I can see she waits for me
From the shadows
I found myself behind dark windows
as the shadows poured through
I can see she waits for me
From the shadows
From the shadows
From the shadows

A new day dawns
The leaves are falling
Time is moving on
And it won’t be long
I’ll hear you calling
From the shadows
Looking through
Looking through

Two guitar heroes...
... Vic at the vocal microphone. "I can see the light is fading"... but no fading light with this song. Cool lyrics and exceptional guitar work. As Feter used to say, "Deep bows..."

Neo Classic Rock
As I listened to this I could hear elements of 70's straight ahead rock.. I liked the doubling on the vox.. The guitar work is pro sounding..:) and well weaved..A moody piece with the piano additions and lyrically matching the music.. 2 Thumbs up to you both on your collaboration

Really nice guitar solo. Really pulls the track up a notch. This is one of your better tracks. Wonderful collab, mixing simple haunting piano with power guitar. Really nice.

An inspired collab. East meets west. Yin meets yang. Emma Peel meets Paul Bunyan... :-) Wonderfully atmospheric track. Haunting piano and perfect guitars. Great vocal work, too, Vic. Blown away. Kudos to you both, Peter.

Some cool chord work, like the tone in your voice you and Bob need to do more because this is tops like when the lead comes in really has allot of power!

Bob had quite a few chord changes on this piece. in the verse sections i did a counterpoint thing that seemed to work out pretty well. working in the key of Em seems to work well enough for vocals for me

What a cool combination of artists, I can hear both influences strongly throughout. This has an old Pink Floyd feel to it. I like where the piano lies in the mix. Excellent work fellas!
