Lyrics
These times are so confusing
The story of today's tomorrow's lie
We just got to keep on moving
In the distance you can hear the battlecry

Friends turn into foes
Allies turn to enemies
How it goes nobody knows
It's all a matter of identities

Refr: An eye for an eye
A tooth for a tooth
It turned out to be a lie
It never brought us closer to the truth

Brother against brother
Fighting with sticks and stones
I hear you say : why bother?
Can you hear those distant moans

Divide and conquer
It has always been like that
Pride and anger
The tale of good and bad

Refr

An Eye For An Eye
I like the smooth flow (the djembe is an important part of that) and the cool swinging lead lines of Bingsolex are always a joy. Warm vocal. All good, KC!

Great job guys!
Has a kind of "fire and ice" mixture to it--love the rhythm here!--and that break into the chorus couldn't have been better (nice chord progressions into that). The lyrics are just right for his and well delivered. What more can I say--solid work from some very solid and skilled artists. Thanks again Cees!

Eye for an Eye
I am digging your last couple of acoustic releases, Really well recorded and the musicianship is top shelf.

Loved the acoustic
Nice mix and loved how the acoustic and tele are panned out, digging the chorus really seals the overall sound of the tune. Bass fits well and helps keep everything together.

Stereo separation...
...I seldom hear such clear, distinct stereo separation in my little studio speakers. This is the element of this track that strikes me first and most significantly. It is a wonderful sound that just works on my ears in the most splendid way. Lot of stuff going on percussion-wise, but it's not overbearing and really adds to the vitality of this number. (Bridge is a tad long for my tastes, but it is, nevertheless, nicely done.) Cool post, skillfully delivered.
