STEPS: NASA Space Challenge

Description
Had to fix a few problems in a rushed earlier version. I'm happier with v2.
Just came across this challenge and couldn’t resist playing as well.
The artwork is by the great space artist who did the campaign for 2001 Robert McCall.
Hope you enjoy.

Space challenge
Stirring piece that suits the spoken words that begin in and are interspersed though it. Thoughtful ending, too.

NASA SPACE CHALLENGE: STEPS v2
Cool tune. majestic and cinematic. The wood block might have been more intermittent to add some variety. The horns were deftly played. Great work!

Constructive
comments are always welcome. I agree the wood block could be spaced out and varied. I had been working on it but more listens and feedback help.
I'm happy you enjoyed this racerat and thanks for the kind words.
Cheers,
Charlie

STEPS v2
Your "wild west/new world" penchant really suits this challenge, Charles. Stirring and momentous. It also has a gravity :-) that underscores the seriousness of the whole enterprise. Makes you want to boldly go (except the end bit :-)) Fine work. Thanks, Peter.

I love your Wild West New World comment.
The whole space exploration and going to the moon idea has always stirred me in spite of or maybe because of it’s “impracticality”.
Thanks Peter,
Charlie

while listening, i'm working on today's cryptoquote in the newspaper. oddly enough the solution to yesterday's puzzle is:

Drama!
You've captured that, Charlie. The juxtaposition of your horns and dramatic soundscape with JFK and Mission Control all work so well together to recreate a theatrical moment in time that really changed the world. This would make a great backdrop to a movie scene at the launch pad site. Nicely imagined and beautifully realized, Charlie.
