Incidentally
I like the way this rolls along, Bill. After a while, I was looking for something extra though - another lead instrument over the top maybe? Nicely done.

Incidentally
Sparse and jaunty in parts. Rich lush and sometimes even a little cheesy with the TR-808 sounding beats. Fascinating piece.

I gotta say
This is just straight up outstanding. I just love everything about your track. The beginning is a perfect beginning. The slow build of instruments. The hypnotic bass line. Just a great choice of instrument sounds. Cool cool vibe

Beethoven's Bass
These are just getting better, Bill. The instruments combinations sound wonderful and are unique and unexpected. Like Oop, said, very vibey and cool.

details
i've only done the three. this one was heavily loop based. started with drums and the over all structure (and i added opening and ending with a gong at this point) - what's funny is it's not the gong i was expecting!

then i added bass loops, but chopped them up and pieced them together randomly. i've done that a million times before. not listening didn't really matter.

then i joined the bass pieces and copied them to a new track. from there i deleted notes that looked like grace notes, or passing tones, and put the remaining notes at the beginning of each measure. that became the chords.

when i copied the bass tracks, some pitch-bending came along. i was really surprised at the pitch-bending that showed up in the chords.
