Description
A Rocking Sock Puppet monstromental. We've been doing quite a few of these. Sometimes it's to try out an interesting time signature, but mostly it's because I can't think of any lyrics.

Animal
Those ominous guitar riffs and leads are right in my comfort zone. Some great drum playing too. I could listen to this all day long. You are definitely on a roll. Cheers.

6/8
We were trying out time signatures. Well, I was. The best ones are 7/4, but this one's not a bad one. I agree about the drumming. Thanks for stopping by.

Animal Maggotism
Sometimes the music tells a story in itself where no lyrics are needed, just to let the ear go on a journey of imagery ..I am imagining blobs from another dimension trekking through the city streets, invisible to the human eye, taking in the atmosphere.. They are kind of perplexed by what they witness.Maybe they want to change things over??
I enjoyed hearing this quirky piece from you..:)

Narrative
All music has some sort of narrative. To me this one is some sort of rampaging thing, stomping on other things. Ta for listening, Joyce.

Great percussion...
...interesting sounds throughout, and I appreciate the clever rhythmic elements that permeate this whole track. I'm trying to find some "form" in all of this interesting cleverness. Maybe that's not the point. Don't know. I enjoyed the creativity in this track, nevertheless.

The Point
is two musicians getting to grips with what they can do. I've learned a lot from these collaborations, and I'm chuffed that you find this one of interest, Paul.

There is an elemental, all consuming edge to this. Creative and expansive. Alt free form prog? :-) I'm glad I stopped by. Thanks, Peter.

Noisy romp

It's an attempt at something raucous, punctuated by calmer moments. If I ever release it, I'll try to reduce the similarity between the first riff and "Walk". I'm happy you enjoyed it, Peter.

for starters, i really like the bass sound. the whole rhythm section delivers a solid groove. lyrics are overrated; i think this tune still tells a story without 'em. enjoyed!

Grunts may be
more appropriate than lyrics here. I'll have to buy a pig. Thanks for listening, Carbon.

Maggots … ew
Haha. Clever title. It maybe suggests a lyrical theme, but as carbon says, lyrics are overrated, especially when the music is so interesting. It strikes me as a sort of progged out, more thoughtful update of Pantera's Walk. I am really enjoying your recent run. More, please.

Old meets new
I rerecorded the bass on this (it's from last year sometime), as the Yamaha is much better than my old one. But the guitars are still the old SX and Squier Strat copies - not bad for not such good instruments. I have to tweak the next offering, but should have it ready for Saturday. There's an absolute corker on its way, but I'm letting David polish that one up, as he's so good at it. Ta for listening, Les.

Pantera
Yes, I hear that - Howard Stern used to play it a lot, and it soaked in. I haven't heard it for ages. I hope there are sufficient differences for it not to be too much of a steal.

Creepy
Sounds about right, though it is also strangely bouncy. The slow, Crim - inspired bits sound like something writhing to me, which is very creepy. Thanks for your comments, Daug.
