Description
I unwittingly wrote a country song this weekend. I don't know if it's derivative or not because I don't own any country albums. Anyway, here's the song. Needs a guitar solo at 1:50. Got somebody working that.

I can see
the country in it but it has a very cool rock vibe to it, it waltzes along exception bass in this tops all around hope you post the guitar solo, reminds me of Weens country album

Heart felt GP/Nilsson vibe for lack of more subtle words. Yer tunes are always interesting and the Parson's aire of sadness is always present. Well done once again.
I would strongly suggest ya giving thought to putting ideas into things.

Thanks man.
Thanks Daug. Not sure what you mean about that last part. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Do you feel my songs lack ideas?

Ah, not hard to understand...
When one tells their beloved, "I love you." The words hold a fleeting sentiment.
When ones gives the flowers on the other hand... Something else transpires. I am suggesting you put the ideas into the things. You will get finer results :)

Never On Time
I hear a John Lennon influence to this more than country.. Like the harmony/backups.. The mood of the voice matches the lyrics well..

I agree with the Nilsson reference. Classy adult contemporary folk rock. Good song. Very good vocals. Enjoyed. Thanks, Peter.
