Mix-up
I got the description of this folk song suite mixed up with the other suite I posted a couple of weeks ago. Fixed.

A trend?
Once again, the idea of introducing these things to otherwise average people is frightening. Shouldn't we save these things for ourselves....
(The Bartok my friend.... not the quartets. Promise!) :)
Great job as usual.

Quartets are safe.
OK, promise. No quartets. But a Concerto for Synthesizer based on Concerto for Orchestra might happen.

Bold...
Great tune, excellent arrangement. The volume contrasts work well throughout and are carefully considered... Braul is a wonderful number...too short. Pe loc lives up to its title, but the little whistle you've chosen is so cool. Makes this movement an instant favorite (and it contrasts with the first two nicely, too). Maruntel — fast dance, indeed! Wow. What great energy. Bartok is far under-rated, I think. YOU are bringing him to life again. What a wonderful suite of songs that you have carefully orchestrated and recorded. A treasure, really.

Fast dance
Bartok indicates these are to be taken even faster, but listen to the poor flautist and the piccolo flute part!

Ah, those Romanian country folk sure knew how to kick their heels up. They look such a happy bunch, too :-) Wonderful, as always, Henry. Thanks.
