It might be...
...a bit smelly, but I love it. A lot of prog vibe in this one, and that bass is just swell. Looks like these socks are getting a little sentimental. :)

Only clean ones allowed!
"Smelly Laundry Basket" might make a good follow - up. Glad you enjoyed it, Jay. We're getting to the bottom of the barrel now, so only one or two more posts after this one.

socks
that didn't get swallowed by the dryer.
very nice piece. the arppegiated guitar lines set a nice feel, some cool guitar riffs to, the bass taking the center stage is sounding sweet

Showcase piece
The tapped and lead guitar bits are Gladys the Ibanez 7 - stringer, the bass is a fretless Yamaha (called Adele) and everything else is Ovation acoustic or Yamaha Strat copy. The percussion is from David's box of tricks, and involves more Yamaha kit. I'm pleased you like it, Vic.

Sock Drawer
A musical sock drawer has got to be an advance on the usual chaos inspired mayhem that tends to evolve in them. And this is definitely the case here. If my sock drawer sounded this good I would be spending a lot of time tidying it and matching up all the pairs :-) All the elements come together very well. Nice one. Thanks, Peter.

The joy of socks
writing music is a bit like sorting out a sock drawer. That's about all I have to say about that. Thank you as ever, Peter.

The socks genre
A fine addition. Wonderful instrumentation and arrangement. I would have messed this up with off-kilterness, but you let it maintain its own hang-togetherness. Lovely beginning and ending, too. Nice guitar.

The end is the beginning
Copy and paste job on account of the laziness. But it works in the composition. Thanks for the nice comments, Les.

Nice
there aren't enough tunes about socks (or power washers come to that).

Love the bass and how the tune starts to lift with the dual guitars.

Cheers

Dick

You'll regret those words
Coming up: I Want Your Socks, The Power of Socks, Socks in the City, Socks Machine, Do You Think I'm Socksy? Phew, I'm spent. Actually, it'll probably be a rehash featuring David's mellotron while I get some words made up for a couple more songs. Thanks for listening, Dick.

Sock Drawer
This is an interesting piece of music ... that guitar panned left is quite intriguing the way you are picking and sliding that cool progression. I like the way you have introduced the lead and that lead harmony sounds great.
Fine playing ...very progressive socks.

Spotlights
The four guitars each have a bit to offer - Gladys the tapping, Jack the lead, Ovation the picking and the bass does double duty bass and occasional lead. If I were an octopus I could play this live, and escape from jamjars. Thanks for the comments, Stan.

David plays real
even though the drums start off electronic. He also does great programmed drums. I love my Yamaha fretless. It teaches me something new every time. Glad you enjoyed it.

Working Title
but it's as good as any other for an instrumental, especially when the band is called The Rocking Sock Puppet. Thanks for listening, KC.

I've said it before
It's my favourite instrument. I've learned not to depend on frets, and I really like using it as a lead instrument. Thanks for your kind words, Garni.

were undertaken. Every sock I spoke to agreed that this recreates their drawer experiences. Science! Thanks for listening, Sigmund.
