Red Button
Eh, I think I should press that pretty 'like' button... :) Fluid-like keyboard phrases build up nicely to the killer guitar solo. Bass sounds great too. Good to hear your new (I suppose?) material, Les.

Sorta new
I had this laid out some time ago, but it sounded horrible. So I attempted to clean it up. Moderately successful. The guitar parts were poorly recorded. Thanks for listening, commenting, and pressing the button.

That's some monstrous tone you get outta your guitar for this one Les. All that killer synth work reminds me of Rush circa 1985 or so. Lead playing is excellent - ah the days of wailing feedback! Very cool prog rock tune - loved it!

Hi, Sig
I probably copy Rush unconsciously all the time. I wish I could copy Neil Peart, but there are some things real drummers can pull off that software drums can't (I think). Wailing feedback. Yes, good fun! Thanks for your generous support.

Coo-er...
I'm listening to this on tinny macbook speakers, yet the bass comes thundering through. It must be a great mix. Can't wait to plug in to my proper speakers when I get back.

As ever, much kudos on your excellent synth voices. Well, much kudos on everything really. Top sound sir. Heavy and heavier.

Hi, Dave
Not such a great mix. This one was a real challenge. Lots of noisy tracks to contend with. It will have to do. Yes, lots of synths in this one. A little different, with the synth leads and all. Thanks for the comments.

The artwork made me smile. The song is a more intense affair, though :-) A tour de force of Klooness. Bass, synths, guitars, drums all epic. Nice little mood switch up in the middle to give us all some hope but then armageddon hits and we are blasted away again. Thanks for the workout. Regards, Peter.

Hi, Chris
That's very kind of you. This one was based on a bass line that's impossible to play, so it's a bit of a cheat. It probably gets sufficiently buried in the mix with all the noise, and I guess that's a happy accident. Not one of my favorites but the thing has been sitting there staring at me waiting for a decent mix, so I gave it a shot. Glad you liked it.

Oh my goodness...
you had to push it. It is not music to fall asleep to. But I do think it would back up a fast game of handball or Marine munitions testing. Move over Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries.
So glad you're still knocking down the walls. Thanks.

i really enjoyed this, Les. anchored by the explosive energy and movement of the rhythm section, this ran through my head like a freight train. the guitar riff at the end is especially haunting. i might try to steal that. excellent!

Hi, Steve
Freight train. A gratifying description. Thanks for that. The riff at the end? Just some noise. If you want it, it's yours. It would be my privilege. And thanks for the (evocatively literate) comments. Much appreciation.

Hi, JA
Three thumbs. Yes, sometimes my left hand feels like it has three thumbs on it. Ten takes on the noisy solo, keep the one that more or less fits. Well, that's part of the fun … jamming to your own tracks. I really appreciate the nice comments. Thanks.

Boom!
Badass right from the start. You are the master my friend. Between your synth work, well programmed drums and the bass lines, this is as solid as this genre gets.

Deep bows.
