Thanks
I was definitely inspired by some old-school bands when I made this. And it is just fun playing with hard rock organs. Thank you for the comment and checking this one out.

Thanks
For some reason, it seems like I get more ideas with iPad in my hand. I rarely have a chance to sit in front of my piano and compose, anyway. Thank you for the listen and the comment, Vic. Cheers.

Retro fun
Again, I'm impressed at the authenticity of the sounds. Do you punch in all the guitar notes? There must be about eleventy thousand of them. Cool straight ahead Satriani-type rocker.

playing iPad guitar
Hello, Les. For guitar leads and solos I just play iPad Garageband smart guitar on touchscreen. Of course it takes numerous takes to get a take I like, but so far that has been the most effective way. When I draw in the midi notes, whether in iPad or Mac, I just can't seem to get that sound. Thank you for the listen and the comment.

Rock instrumentals live
I love organ. And driving guitars. Nice classic sound. The over compressed guitar is way cool, and the prog rock organ is thrilling. Baseline is a bit 80s straight 8, but provides a nice constant push. Thanks for sharing this. Nice energy.

Rock organ
Thank you for checking out my humble work. I've been fascinated by organ sound since I was a kid, and one of my long term goals is to play organ part of Deep Purple's "Burn" in live decently. I agree about the rhythm guitar/bass section. I could have done much more on those. Cheers.

Well, that heavy electric guitar sound always excites me, and maybe that's why I keep going back to garageband. Thank you for the listen and the comment. Cheers.

Did a brief stint in a hobby band back in the 90s, and still do some occassional jam sessions with my old buddies. But I don't consider myself a musician or an artist. 'Hobbyist' might be the best word to describe me in macjams. Still, I try to m... [see more]
