You’re right
of course, it is short but I modeled it on a credit sequence for an imaginary western show from way back when they were popular on the tube.
Glad you enjoyed it KC.
Thanks.

Theme music...
...for a Western. Very much harkening back to the style and feel of the mid-60's TV shows. Short, yes, but with great potential to sail off somewhere with a full orchestra as the opening credits roll (and they always did OPENING credits in those old shows). Nice concept that captures the nostalgia of old-time TV westerns.

Ride 'em, Cowboy
You've encapsulated the grander and brashness of a television Western. Pass the popcorn and the Pepsi .. pose for a cameo .. and roll the credits.

The only thing the bothers me (and this is slight thing) is the last couple of notes: I'd like them to conclude a little more upbeat.

An Upbeat Cowboy!
I can see what you mean.
Maybe I’m just not sure who might be over the next hill.
Thanks Warren.

Theme music
You've definitely captured something of the western theme music. But I'm missing a bit of flow here, probably because there is only the horn theme, and everything else just follows that. Take a listen to one of the classics https://youtu.be/uwPI80EALPU and observe how many independent layers there are below the horns. The violins and drums have a life entirely their own, more or less independent of the melody.

Your example
is probably one of the greatest western themes ever written but it sure is something to aspire to.
Thanks Vic.
