Description
Bought Logic-X a little while ago, this is what came out while trying it out. There's also a connection to this track, made almost a year ago.

So far I've just scratched Logic-X's surface, but it's at least a big step up from previous version I used!

Thanks for listening.

It's been a while since you've put anything up here, almost a year, [I remember the linked track] but it surely was worth the wait. This is beautiful and I can't wait to listen again on my proper speakers. On a tinny Macbook at the mo, but it still sounds good. Shows what can be done with a simple motif.

Your surface scratching is most effective and I like this very much.

Thanks a bunch Dave! I'm glad you're still around :)

Hopefully it sounds good on proper speakers but I know I could have spent more time on the mix (as always, time is an issue).

It does.
Maybe an EQ clean-up here and there, and a tad more volume and clarity on the kick, brighten up the snare? But you've tamed the reverb! Did you use Space Designer? Such a powerful tool. I'd have been very tempted to put some delay fades here and there too. [I like that dub sound] The growly synth pad rumbling away in the background is excellent, and the sharper lead instruments cut through the rumble really well.

As always, what do I know really. I might be talking rubbish. It sounds great on the proper speakers!

Big space find!
The space in X is huge. Have fun. Sounds like your going to have a great time. Around 1:30 this thing got tasty.

Logical
Haven't made the step to X yet, but this may push me over the edge. I love the ambience, the sense of a huge space around the music. I like the way the theme is developed, yet maintained throughout without becoming monotonous. Excellent!

Lovely
As everyone is raving about, the space and clarity is a pleasure to listen to. I love the super slow build and overall reflective ambience.
A very satisfied listen. As good as anything I hear on iTunes ambient radio stations.

Hi aRcTip.....
This is a very nice track. You always set up a good theme and this piece is no exception. I like the development of the mix and the sense of expectation.

Take care.

Wow
Really cool stuff here. X seems to be a "great deal", if just scratching its back a little produces music like this ;-) Well, I guess you still have to know how to tame it...

Thanks and take care,
Henke
