Description
The image of the dead Syrian boy on the beach broke my heart such a fragile little human. The barbaric army that caused his fleeing has once again proven that man has learned nothing from history...This piece tries to evoke the sadness of this and many other events in the torn Syrian experience, while the shouts of war echo in the back ground.

The vocalist is Fayza Ahmed my thanks to her..

I could
look at the pic for only a second, then quickly scroll away. Way too disturbing, but I guess that's the point. You definitely captured the sadness, and with a delicate touch.

Haunting and Disturbing
It is heart-breaking to even think how atrocities like this can happen... how anyone can continue the onslaught, knowing how many innocents are injured, maimed, crippled and yes, killed.

Your somber composition captures the appropriate mood perfectly.

In Mourning
That the world has let the Syrian conflict roll on and on without taking decisive steps to bring it to an end is an indictment on world leaders and the lack of public pressure that has been bought to bear on them. The UN estimates 220,000 people have died since the start of the conflict, including close to 12,000 children. The music is reflective and solemn, Dave, as it should be. Well done. Thanks.

An evocative meditation on the grief from war
Very understated with just the right amount of theme over the rhythmic backing. It reminds me of the theme from the game Journey in some ways (and to me that is a good thing). The lament in the vocal makes this all the more personal. I'd say given your intent was to draw us into the emotion of the moment you have knocked this one right out of the park. Thanks for making this one.
