Description
used to be a painter on TV, Bill Alexander, hosted The Magic of Oil Painting. he used to say that once you had something in your mind , there was no problem putting it on the canvas. He also said that once you have have it in your mind, there's no mercy, just fire in and use creative power to do it. I've tried to apply that in life, music, whatever. Once I have it definite in my mind, go for it and damn the torpedoes! So here's a song saying just that.

Lyrics

lyrics

working on the dream for so long
through each step I tried to be strong
tried not to lose sight of the prize
is each proven truth worth more than the lies?
what did you say about things that go wrong?

chorsus
no mercy
when sadness tries to slow you down
no mercy
when frustration tries to turn you around
no mercy
when failure comes creeping in
no mercy
rise up with a happy heart and fire in

so many days with doubts in my mind
times when the hope was harder to find
nights spent awake confusing my choice
spinning my wheels at the top of my voice
what was it you said that could save me time ?

chorus

almighty trees reaching up to the sky
almighty clouds are waving bye bye
almighty wind is filling my wings
there's an almighty love that sings

A little unsure
of the vocal effect at first but suddenly it all seemed to fit together :)

Hints of the 60s. Effective.

Cheers

Recording songs
Yes, this feels like you had unity of purpose in mind as you executed this powerful rocker. While I have had that happen a number of times when writing and recording songs .. it seems more often I just have an idea which starts to develop .. and I build the song as it goes along.
