Raw counterpoint
I'm not sure how many voices are at work here (maybe three), but they strike me as kind of an edgy counterpoint that kept my interest from the opening piano line to the end of the number. Note particulary "pretty," but a pretty effective play of one note against another. I'm hearing another tune, too, riding out over the whole "ground bass" perhaps with a woodwind, perhaps something VERY MELODIC that is only tangentially related to what you have already written —— kind of a "counter counterpoint". Now THAT would be really jarring, and pretty cool, too. I enjoyed hearing this very much.

Paul Page said "edgy" counterpoint which is about right, I was surprised by it's build, - or perhaps expansion would be a better way to describe it. A moody and atmospheric piece of music with some quite dark edges I thought and certainly not following the beaten travk. I liked the production and enjoyed listening to this Daug.

A different offering from the Daughouse. "New World" classical in feel. Interesting build. Some nice embellishments. Thanks.

Now that's cool
I like how you've woven all of these mellow threads together with the scrapey rhythm and string pad. Very cool - just the right amount of push in the non-piano tones to keep it evolving while the dance of the melodies do their thing. A fine tune for a Sunday morning. Thanks!
