Description
A live recording of my band performing the great song composed by Horace Silver... from 1970 at a dance in Norristown, PA. Back in the day when I was the tenor sax guy with an occasional backup vocal. Those were good times.

Good times
Ah, that's so nice!
Must be fantastic to have recordings from so long ago.
I so much understand that was good times.

When i think of 1970 ... I was 18 .... wow .. so much time in life to do things ... as having a band, rehearsing, learning lots every day. Today I fantazise about forming a band "Los Panchos". A "pancho" is what Swedish kids call a penionere, (pronounced "panchonere" – an old retired person.

Cheers :)

so long ago...
Hi Curry, our guitarist, Vince, made these recordings and kept them all these years. We reconnected a couple years ago and that is when I got this. I have about 10 more. Great memories. From your comments... we must be the same age. Cheers and blessings, my brother...

long ago live...
Hey Vic. We did have a pretty good sound. Nothing like rehearsals and frequent gigs. Vince, the guitarist, made the recordings and kept them all these years... Thanks for the nice comment.

Got that...
...mellow, 70's feel to it. How nice to now have such good recorded copies of your early work. Hey...you weren't bad on that sax. Very cool. What a treasure of great music. Hope you will post more.
