Lyrics
Impotence running rampant
My hands are tied behind my back
My back has been stabbed so many times I'm beginning to crack
The cracking is my sanity starting to slip
Slipping away is my desire for another day

How long must this continue on?
How long
In my head, in my heart

The frustration and aggravation in my life quickly become my best friends
My friends, I hope you never have to deal with what's in my head
My head, my frail mind is starting to slip
Slipping away is my desire for another day

How long must this continue on?
How long
In my head, in my heart

Friends, my friends, I hope you never have to deal with what's in my head
My head, my frail mind is starting to slip
Slipping away is my desire for another day
Slipping away is my desire for another day

How long must this continue on?
How long
In my head, in my heart

Slipping Away
High energy for sure. I'm diggin the balls to the wall attitude. Not crazy about the chopped off ending but that would be an easy fix. thanks for sharing.

Slipping
Thanks for stopping and commenting. Don't know how or why it's chopped at the end here but the real version is not. Sorry about that but just wanted to let you know that it doesn't actually end like that. Lol

absolutely awesome
Your best yet. I love that descending riff. I want to have its baby. Although your lyrics are grim, I like the way you pick up a word from the end of one line and start the next line with verb based on that word. Very clever and adds to the drive of the thing. Over the past few years I've felt desire slipping away many times. Excellent stuff.
