Lyrics
Dogs of War
(Featuring the Puppies of Pandemonium)

Hungry wolves are at the door
People dying by the score
The wealthy prey upon the poor
Beware, there's word of war

See the dirt upon the floor
Listen to the liars' roar
Feel the fever more and more
We stumble through the fog of war

See your life on distant shore
Feel the pain you can't ignore
Touch the spot that still is sore
Hear the howling dogs of war

Fear the howling dogs of war

Weird
I spent ages trying to upload this and seemingly failing. Now here it is! David McNair is back on drums, and I have reworked the arrangement, all for the better I hope.

I think ....
..... I missed this before. Reminiscent of Gentle Giant in the timing changes and arrangement.
A difficult thing to pull off - great words and good playing/production/vocals.
Good post!

It's tricky
... in Garageband, which does not really allow time changes. But the 3/4 fit quite nicely into the 4/4, with a bit of perseverence. Any comparison to GG warms my cockles, as they are my favourite prog band after Crim. Thanks for listening, Neil.

So good
You liked it twice! I didn't even know it had uploaded, such are the vagaries of MJ these days. Anyway, your interest is much appreciated, KC.

It was
already good, but David brought that "living beat" and pushed it further.

Whenever David chips in, the quality increases. We're going to be posting quite a bit in the next few weeks. Cheers, Sam.

Dogs of War
Taken to an even higher level with David's drumming. A fine, atmospheric song, Graham. Bass sounds great. Like this mix better, too. More organic. Happy to have had a second chance to listen. Thanks.

Dogs of War
Some fine melodic changes in this piece and some fine guitar playing.
Solid rhythm and at around the 2 mark .... excellent music interlude ....
Great drumming and vocals ... my only nit is I think the dog is out of key......

Love a bit of prog, in fact I have a years subscription to Prog Magazine this year! The live drums really take this up a notch. So much to captivate the ear. Good job
