Description
And now back to the "heavy blues" and a song about something I am very serious about.

Lyrics
Oh ye of the infinite faith with your face glued to the book of shame
You got led astray, just follow what they say
Never think for yourself again

Jesus Saves
Not today!
Your self proclaimed son of god is dead
Pray for me
On your knees, your prayers are answered through the rhythmic bobbing of your head

Never question all the lies, contradictions aside
Hide the truth of your demise
Ignoring all the signs
No more logic, it's so tragic
You choose to close your eyes

Jesus Saves
Not today!
Your self proclaimed son of god is dead
Pray for me
On your knees, your prayers are answered through the rhythmic bobbing of your head

I speak not from a place of ignorance
But of knowledge and experience

Jesus Saves
Not today!
Your self proclaimed son of god is dead
Pray for me
On your knees, your prayers are answered through the rhythmic bobbing of your head

Pretty damn good. Sorry I haven't had much time to catch up with your other stuff. This is cool. Your mixing has really changed and this has extra width and depth. The guitars and crunchy. There's quite a bit of bottom end on the one on the right that replaces the lack of bass. Drumming is good and the beat has some interesting bits in it…and I can go with the sentiment too. Enjoyed. Cheers

Always good to see you on here. Thank you for the kind words as always. There is actually bass on here and I thought you (I) could here it. I was wrong? I have been working on mixes and making them a little better. Though I doubt I'll ever master it.
Thanks again

bass
I was listening hard and I thought i could hear the bass but couldn't work out if it was the lower end of the strings of the guitar on the right speaker..or the kick drum which sometimes does a good job of filling that space. Have you got bass now or are you using a preset on GB? cheers

Bass
I do have a bass now and have been playing on the songs. Unfortunately it is not great but it does add some low end anyway.

This is a groovin jam with a very cool old school Motörhead vibe. The guitars have a great, crunchy retro tone. The vocals and instruments have good separation in timbre and in the stereo field. Lemmy would approve!

Did you use a stereo compressor or limiter? There were a few moments where it seemed like one channel or the other was maxing against a ceiling.

Unrelated, do you follow the Atheist Experience weekly call-in show or Dogma Debate podcast/radio program out of Texas? This song seems like something David Smalley at Dogma Debate might play as an interstitial.

Hey, thank you very much. I like how it came out for the most part. I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to..... well anything, really... but especially mixing. To be honest with you, I use the newest Garageband and fiddled with the compressor and limiter on there. That's about it as far as compression or limiter.

I actually have never heard the podcast/radio program. I'll have to do so. Thanks for mentioning that. It would be pretty cool if it was to get played on there.
Thanks again
