Nice and subtle.
A melodious and peaceful experience. I like the balance between the repetition and subtle variations that goes on.

"A melodious and peaceful experience" - exactly what I was hoping for! Thanks for the comment - much appreciated.

Laid back/horizontal
Very smooth and calming piece Philip - not sure the "strings" were necessary though, as the guitars were excellent by themselves. There were subtle waves, like breath, happening on the guitars which worked really well for me.
Very nice post.
Cheers from "up north".

Thanks
Glad you liked it, Neil. You may be right about the strings - I can't help adding stuff! At least I left out the mandolin... and the electric guitar... and the drums...

Nice
I've gravitated towards acoustic guitar more recently, so I really appreciate this. Fire Angel is right about the balance.

I don't stray too far away from an acoustic guitar... Glad you liked it, Graham - thanks for listening!

Breathe in...
Both guitars sounding mighty fine, Philip. The fact that they have seeped into your consciousness over the what 80+ plus years in total they have been sitting on your knee comes across in spades. Peaceful, easy feeling. Take care.

Add the bass and it might be 100 years! I do like playing them. I hope the pleasure I get is mirrored by that of the listeners! Thanks for the comment - see you soon!

Peaceful Picking Pleasure
Chet smiling? This one is evocative of a school of fingerpickin' that saw it's day in the middle sixties.
I always enjoy your material and this one fits in nicely with your catalog. Thanks for sharing your work with us here.
How about a challenge? Next time have a melody for the thing. You still have to make the picking patterns come out clean, but in addition, you have to generate a melodic figure on the top you can vocalize.

Good idea re a melody line! I did try to make a vaguely repetitive thing that would stick in the mind, but there's room for development there. I'll give it a go!

Every breath you take
Nice playing! I'll repeat what Neil noted: the strings are superfluous .. that this is a case to just let the guitars do the talking : )

Sonic Oasis
Calming indeed, and of course expertly played. I'm a sucker of the use of mixolydian mode - probably my folk influences. Beautiful tone here Philip and each guitar comes through well in your mix. I like how everything else is secondary to the main theme - no competition for attention. A lovely moment of respite this afternoon and thanks for the download!

Nice Spring day...
...somewhere...
This piece is just filled with sunlight and peacefulness. Perfect cinema music. There is a certain simplicity to the whole arrangement that is just so calming. Beautifully played, too. You have such a gentle picking style that is balanced and nuanced. I could listen to this all day...and I just might.
