Cool groove here, Graham. What does Harrison Mixbus bring to the table that you didn't have before?

Warmth
... and confusion. I'm trying to wrangle Logic and GB and Mixbus. They each have their strengths. I can record quickly with GB, because of the familiarity. Logic has so many more options, including stem export, which I use a lot to go to ... Mixbus, which makes everything sound awesome with zero effort. I forget to EQ, pan, everything - Mixbus just makes it sound brill. The more I learn about it the better it gets. If you download a demo of Mixbus 3 and wait a day or two they will offer it to you for $39.00. Beat that! And thanks for the listen.

Cheers, Jack
Mixbus is software developed by the Harrison mixing desk company to emulate the Harrison experience. I haven't used a physical mixer in eons, so there's been a learning curve. But the end results sound so good it's been worth it.

Sounds great Graham
not just the notes you use but the quality of the sounds.
Why that title?

Just a working title.
But I can't think of a better one. Thanks for stopping by, Richard.

With age comes experience
You're not just getting older .. but you're also getting better!

The Harrison Mixbus sounds like something I'd catch at the corner to take into Manhattan ...

Metaphorically true
The "bus" part indicates where you want to send the various tracks, so you can organise a cluster of voices into a 180ยบ spread and then treat the group as one item for EQ and compression etc. Just like a real mixer desk. Or at least that's how I understand it at present. I'd be a terrible shill. Thanks for listening, Warren.

It's DADGAD
But ended up sounding Spanish. The lovely challenge of B to C provokes so much music, it's a marvel. Thank you for listening, Mr B.

Definitely
a good sound from your mixing technique ending up with a latin rhythm that would fit well in some comic strip about intrigue (?), cheers M

Funnily enough
I'm writing and drawing a comic strip about an insane frontiersman who is obsessed with moles. This music isn't quite right! I have a radio comedy about daft detectives, however. Thanks for stopping by, Mr M.

Cool mix.
Wowsee. Excellent. Whatever you're using, you've got a really crisp, clear mix going on here. Nicely played too. Especially like the Jaco style bass.

Sorry I'm late
We've just got back our power and internet after Hurricane Matthew buggered everything up. It's the Mixbus effect that you're hearing. It's well worth checking out as a demo, and absolutely worth the $39.00 for version 3. You have to do almost nothing to get a great mix!

DOn't you love those one button mixing/mastering tools. At least I do because there's so much to learn about all of these packages it makes it easier on my addled brain.

This is a very very cool number Graham. An Eastern feel to it with a nice variety of leads playing against each other. Is that a fretless bass you're using?

Anyway, nice job!

Yamaha fretless
It's my favourite instrument after my Ovation acoustic guitar. Mixbus isn't quite one - button, but it does the job with very little effort on my part. Thanks for the kind words.
