Some Half-Remembered Evening

Description
Put together in January of 2014 (though I don't specifically remember composing it) this tune consists of two Garageband tracks, Sequence Element 2 (playing mostly notes) and Mercury Wash (mostly chords), both slightly effected, playing MIDI by me. I think it sounds slightly like "the morning after" and hence the title with a sly nod to an earlier popular tune.
One unusual thing I did was to transpose a couple of the MIDI regions originally composed for one track into the other for a little variety. Not everyone's cup of tea perhaps but see what you think.

Well,
Sounds good to me. Just the sounds I used to choose myself ;-)

Thanks and take care,
Henke

We must be related ;-)
Perhaps we're siblings, separated at birth.
Thank you Henke.

There you go again doing a lot with very little
Moments of bliss patiently evolving in aural space. Nice!!

Doug, you charmer you
"Moments of bliss" indeed.
Making music is a little like cooking in that sometimes you only need a few ingredients. Of course, with cooking, the only thing left the next day is a memory.
Glad you dropped in bro.

Great atmosphere
and the sort of depth of sound I like
I keep hearing instruments that aren't there..and there in is the magic.

You and Andy
both hear sounds which aren't there but which seem to add to the atmosphere, so that's OK then. And magic is a cool thing too, so thank you Franc. I appreciate your time.

Richard
I'm digging this ambient sounds. My mindear can hear all kinds of glitter sax recorder chime accents here and there. Which makes this track effective to listen to.

The morning after...
...INDEED!
You've nailed the feeling, Richard. Great ambient waves that swirl and swirl and creating a wonderful atmosphere into which one can easily fall and, perhaps, never want to come back. Nicely imagined and mixed with intelligence and class. Nice.

Some Half-Remembered Evening
A swirling, misty dawn of a song. Interesting backstory as to how you created it. Calming Ambient. Thanks, Richard.
