Description
'This Song Temporarily Offline'. So I'm trying to upload it again. One from 2012. Original notes thus:

"This one has been a nightmare to mix. I've spent an absolute age trying to get it right, so apologies if you listen and think it doesn't sound right. Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

The oo-ing and ah-ing voices are a mixture from the Alchemy and Omnisphere synths and the rest of the noises have been provided by U-He's wonderful Zebra 2. I hope you might find something you like about it."

*Song art not showing up. It's a picture of a seagull if you interested. Embedded in the file, so if you really, really want to see it, you'll have to download the tune!

OK, I'll download it.
Gotta listen on the big stereo system! A mix of Debussy and Eno is wafting from my computer speakers. Wow! Just wow!

BIG SPEAKERS !!!
This track has an ENORMOUS sonic range and it sounds wonderful when played loud. You have taken a great deal of care with the mix of all these ambient elements, in the process creating a soundscape worthy of any large theatre cinema experience. Just INTENSE and precisely imagined and mixed. Bravo, Dave. This is such a pleasure to hear.

What they said :-)
It may have been a nightmare but you seem to have tamed it beautifully. Lush and languorous and lovely. Thanks for the d/l: now I'll get to see the seagull!

Big and rumbly
Nice one, Dava. I'm sure there is a person out there who would license this one for a movie or telly show. Us lucky sods get to download it for nothing. Yay!

Spaced out!
Like a soundtrack to one of those films that meander gently across landscapes or through an ocean.

Happy Christmas :-)

Cheers

Sounds great Dave!
Love the richness of this - shades of Scandi noir - vast expanses of snow in semi-sun and shadows of trees with a sprinkling of icy snow.
You've outdone yourself on this one I think.
Just incredible - happy new year to you.
Cheers from Oz,
Neil

Song art
I've found that instead of following MJ's instructions to use pics with a max size of 300 x 300, if you use the minimum side as 300 pixels it usually posts OK. The longer side can be more than 300px.
Worth a try.

How did I miss this one??
Classic DJ, cavernous yet with intimate touches, immersive without being overwhelming, like being in the depths of the ocean or slowly rotating alone in space amongst the stars. Bravissimo Dave!

Thanks too for letting us know about the synths you use. It's always good to keep in my back pocket for when I get back to some ambient work. Although I also need to emulate your creativity too to do it well.... :) Thanks for the download.
