Description
Three tracks, as the title suggests, and put together last September following the collab with awigze on Industrial Elegy, this is the first midi-only piece by me in several years. And while it's not ground breaking it does represent one baby step back towards whatever musical interests/abilities/aspirations I had. It also encouraged me sufficiently to continue that I started 12 projects that month, several of which turned out fairly well and which I will post later. The title was meant to induce a delayed reaction or wtf moment which the piece sadly does not.

Feelings
I get some deep feelings in a sad but also happy way of relief.
Nicely done, brother, peace.

Melancholy
Like Skean suggests this has a slightly melancholy feel to it, something I like. The style also reminds me a little of Brian Eno's ambient pieces, which is nice too :-)

Thanks and take care,
Henke

You KNOW it's going to have a LITTLE melancholy, right?

Thank you.

OK
This is officially my favorite piece by you Rich. Probably that air of melancholy that Kenta and Henrik wrote about...

Really?
Thanks Mike, glad you like it.

If you're looking for melancholy check out some of my earlier work: I think it's starting to leave my system a little by now (this was done six months ago). I don't know what Henke will do when it's all gone ;-)

Sweet and simple
This is a charming exploration of a simple motif. The somewhat artificial horn sound works fine considering the synth backing.....

Haunting
Conjures interesting imagery for me. There's a soundtrack looking for a film.

Cheers

What kind of interesting?
Just lie back and tell me about it. Haunting, you say?

Thanks for the listen Dick. As I said above, this isn't ground breaking but it represents a big (or baby) step for me recently, similar to your latest. Cheers.

duet
i've got some strange interference going on during the intro (MacBook pro internal speakers).
i saw an article about refugees losing their fingers through frostbite as they passed into canada through emerson manitoba. this would be a good soundtrack.
nice work richard

Nicely done, Richard. The piece does have a sense of living in hard times and melancholy. Like the piano melody lines a lot. Thanks.
