Strong beat. I like the dancing keys in the middle of the tune. Bass used effectively - the lines you play, moving from minimal to quick flourish -add interest. The wailing guitar towards the end is another quick highlight. Not your quiet dinner music - more party time? I like it.

Happy Valentine's Day! Many, many entertaining sticky buns in the world already huh?
Pick that gal right up off the floor music in short supply? Works every time...

Hello Mike
Thanks for your support.
Bizarre? Naw. Just Daug, I had a couple of hours of free time in the studio Sunday, pushed play, and here ya go. That picture is outstanding. There is nothing like sweeping a gal off her feet...

No matter how weird your tracks get, the sound quality is always impeccable. And this one is not actually all that weird. Are you starting to mellow out? I could almost sing this one to my valentine.....

Hello Vic
Thanks you for taking the time to comment. Weird? Naw, say yer joking... Just me having some fun. I promise not to mellow, but I may cover "Mellow Yellow" a bit, it appears in a cameo in a large piece I have been trying to finish...
I always claim I play melodically. The challenge is to write consecutive backing features and get a solo to sound natural or appropriate over the different contours. As if throughput and consistent imagination even when everything is first take, and I am winging the thing live, is the normal expectation.

Your music always challenges conventions, Daug, but there is always a fine sense of musicality and impeccable musicianship. Fits the artwork nicely. Thanks.

Hello Peter
Thank you for the kind words. Your support is appreciated!
Challenging conventions is what we are suppose to do. Things would be awfully boring if we didn't venture into the unknown, I just happen to stay there 'cos its way more fun...
